Abstract

This editorial reflects on the work carried out by the Education Area of the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Ecuador, in its 25 years of existence, its link with research in Education, and the need to create the Andean Journal of Education as a space of debate and a platform for dissemination on research in Education in Ecuador.
