Antonio Nariño en la historiografía colombiana. Evolución de la imagen de un héroe: de las versiones clásicas de la Independencia a la Nueva Historia

Abstract

This article describes the images Colombian historiography has developed on Antonio Nariño, the independence hero. The author analyzes recurring traditions and ideas about this character and attributes with which it is presented in historical discourse. Building the image of this hero of Colombian independence is part of the invention of tradition both nationally and regionally from the late nineteenth century to the present.
