Estudios de la Gestión: Revista Internacional de Administración is a publication of the Academic Area of Management of the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Ecuador. The journal has been published since 2017 and is issued uninterruptedly on a semi-annual basis. It has consolidated itself as a space for analysis, reflection, and dissemination of research in the field of management, organizational studies, and social science applied to management. Its objective is to contribute to academic debate and the dissemination of theoretical and applied knowledge, with special emphasis on innovative approaches in different organizational settings.

The research areas promoted by the journal include organizational policies and strategies, management technologies, organization and management, public and private management, studies on the third sector, human talent development, risk management, microfinance and business finance, quality and innovation management, as well as the analysis of organizational situations, both nationally and internationally.

It is a peer-reviewed academic journal. It uses the double-blind peer-review system. It publishes original and unpublished articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. It guarantees a high standard of editorial and academic quality in each edition.

Estudios de la Gestión: Revista Internacional de Administración has two peer-reviewed sections: Studies and Central Theme. It also includes four non-peer-reviewed sections: Point of View, UASB-E SME Observatory, Interviews, and Book Reviews.

The journal is published in a double version: print (ISSN: 2550-6641) and electronic (e-ISSN: 2661-6513). Each work is identified with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
