Populist left, nationalism of natural resources and geopolitics in the Andes

Abstract

Using as a base of an article by Jorge Castañeda, in which he makes a distinction between the modern left and the populist left, Espinosa analyzes the situation in the Andean region-Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela. In accordance with the author, some facts would indicate that the populist left is a flee-ting phenomenon that is beginning to lose strength.
