La acción colectiva frente a la compra de renuncias obligatorias en el sector público

Abstract

This article focuses on the analysis of social movements reactions against a massive human rights violation committed against Ecuadorian state officials under a legal concept implemented by executive decree called "compulsory purchase of resignation." The author leaves open the debate on the actions or lack of collective action that results in the ineffectiveness of mechanisms to counter such drastic measures as implemented by the Ecuadorian government.
